Weekend Penthouse CM4- Trieste - Italy
The penthouse is located at the eleventh floor of the only skyscraper that overlooks Trieste’s stunning neoclassical waterfront and it’s gulf; the building itself was built in late 50’s with a modernist concrete structure and it’s unique age characterization is the main inspiration for the interiors styling.
Among with that, the project main idea is to inhale the panoramic views across the interior spaces in three directions including open sea, city’s waterfront and marinas and urbanized green hills on the back.
Interior spaces are designed to be seamless and to evoke a relation between lifestyle and landscape, both with space distribution and interior finishes.
Therefore, the design of straight and warped custom made furniture regulates the exterior perception and also arranges all functional necessities; ruby red continuous flooring confronts and reveals the intensity of the Adriatic sea and some touches of blue exalt holiday’s mood.
Details are then finished with simple but elegant Aurisina stone from the local quarry.
